On Thursday 21st September, the GVL team headed down to Telford for the annual Recovery Tow Show.

Held in the Telford International Centre the team were free to explore a multitude of supplier stands and purchased new equipment to improve our business standard. The show also hosted other industry professionals, with whom the team spent the day meeting, discussing and networking.

In addition, there was a display of vintage recovery vehicles sponsored by Richford Motors, dating back to yellow AA bicycles, which - despite the appeal - would probably have little effect on an upside-down 4x4 these days.

The highlight for the team was undoubtedly the heavy recovery demonstration by Boniface Engineering where they tipped, turned and lifted a multitude of vans, bin lorries and trucks.

And finally, they headed out for a team-building evening meal to round off a successful and well enjoyed day.
